Residenze Al Colle Dei Pini

The cameras were aimed straight at the balconies, which made them feel intrusive. I suggested they be pointed at the fences instead. What also bothered me was that CCTV was apparently used to anticipate a late check-out, followed by WhatsApp reminders I hadn't asked for. When I tried to explain at checkout that we felt watched, our concerns were brushed aside and we were simply told to return the key with a superficial smile. The apartment itself was much worse than the photos on the booking site. The doors creaked, there were damp patches and stains on the walls, and the flooring looked decades old. Sound insulation was almost nonexistent, so expect constant noise. The way our privacy and comfort were treated was unacceptable, and this is the lowest rating I've ever given an accommodation.

The main bathroom had no running water and the grey water system stopped working after we'd been there a few days. Since it was Friday, nobody could fix it until Monday. Then the window in that bathroom fell out completely and injured my father. The three-bedroom villa was old inside, with no AC or Wi-Fi. The walls and doors were so thin you could hear whispers from the next room. The bathroom door didn't lock, and the second bedroom's two mattresses kept sliding apart during the night. A terrible place to stay. Don't plan your holiday here.

Stay away. It was dirty and dated, with lots of noise from other guests and parking that was hopeless. The outdoor areas were messy, and the laundry room was awful. This place isn't suitable for families at all.

Everything was perfect!
