Park Hotel Villa Potenziani

Finding the right side road from the main road takes care, so watch the map closely as you drive. Once there, the old royal property is beautifully maintained inside and out. The rooms are huge, the bathrooms are modern, and the dining room has a grand feel. Dinner was delicious. I gave it four stars because breakfast choices were limited, none of the wines on the menu were available, and the dinner menu had no local food options, which was disappointing in Italy.

The dining room is striking, and the hotel and its setting have a special feel. It’s like stepping back into the 18th century.

I keep coming back to Park Hotel Villa Potenziani year after year. Its gardens are lovely and well cared for, and the grand dining rooms, especially with that majestic fireplace, make meals feel elegant. The food was outstanding, with a broad wine list to go with it. The service was impeccable, and the care in the details showed throughout the property. Summer evenings by the pool were particularly magical, with a gentle breeze and a peaceful atmosphere. Staying here in Rieti felt like being transported to a time when luxury was an art. For timeless elegance and luxury, Park Hotel Villa Potenziani is a wonderful destination.

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was good, including a great cappuccino with soy milk available. I slept really well on the comfortable bed and pillow. The grounds are beautiful, with a pool, tennis court, and a well-equipped gym for anyone who likes to work out. It’s a large old villa with traditional, quaint decor and very spacious rooms. We appreciated how clean both the room and bathroom were, and there was no musty smell. For the area, I think the hotel is at a very high standard. We look forward to staying again.
