We loved the place and even wanted to book another night, but all the rooms were full. The photos don’t do it justice. The kitchen was nice, the living area had lots of light, and we slept peacefully :)

The location is great, and it’s a historic building, but the hotel feels poorly organized. Cleaning supplies were left lying around, and the room door had to be secured with a chain and padlock. The bathroom is 20 square meters with lots of space, yet the tiny designer sink was very uncomfortable and there was barely room for a toothbrush. We skipped breakfast because it wasn’t worth eating.

SERENDIPITY We found this place on a snowy day while looking for somewhere affordable and nice to spend the night, ideally with a bathtub, so we could set off in daylight the next morning. What a lucky find: the gorgeous apartment is in a 19th-century building, with a breathtaking view and refined, welcoming furnishings. The owner’s care shows, and they were just as warm and welcoming. We had all the expected things, including towels, WiFi, varied breakfast, helpful staff, a microwave, hairdryer, heating, and a kitchenette, plus more. The room that shared the bathroom was empty, so we were lucky enough to enjoy the entire apartment. Experiences this memorable deserve repeating, and kind people like these deserve honest reviews. We’ll definitely be back.
