Casa Villa Rentals by Torre a Cona

The views and outdoors around this castle made us feel like royalty, especially driving past the other wineries. We were heading from Florence to Naples and, after it got late, decided to find a winery stay in the countryside. Even with a last-minute booking, they welcomed us with thoughtful touches, including a personalized note in the room, and kept the wine tasting room open for us. Gabriele was a great host and helped us make the most of every minute. The restaurant and bar were accommodating and excellent. We had perfectly medium-cooked steak and flavorful seafood pasta, and the price felt worth the experience. Breakfast was included and fresh, with fruit, pastries, and eggs made to order. We also got to enjoy everything the property offered, including horseback riding, which they arranged that morning during our one-night stay. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

The historic estate itself gave the tasting a special charm, and we were grateful to owner Niccolò Rossi di Montelera for the chance to enjoy it there. We visited Torre a Cona near Florence, and had a wonderful time. Gabriele was knowledgeable and passionate, and his cultural depth and enthusiasm made the tasting engaging. He brought each wine's story to life. Maxime also welcomed us kindly and made us feel comfortable right away. Highly recommended for anyone wanting excellent wines in an elegant, authentic Tuscan atmosphere.

We really enjoyed the winery visit and tasting, both fun and interesting. Tommaso was kind and spoke so well as our guide, and Lucrezia gave us a warm welcome. The staff also helped us work out how to get back to Firenze. The restaurant was delicious, and the views were very pretty. Thank you!

Gabriele was so well informed about the wines and where they come from. He gave us a great tour of the cellars and historical archives before the tasting, which was really well done. The tasting area is beautiful, and the estate has lovely views. 10/10 for Gabriele!
