The hotel's best point was one young man, who we think was named Emilio, though we're not sure. He had dark hair and wore a black shirt. He was polite and helpful, and made us feel valued. One woman on staff left a very bad impression: short dark bobbed hair, glasses, a white T-shirt and black pants. She was rude and aggressive, took plates away before we had finished eating, and couldn't speak any English. The hotel itself was disappointing too. Rooms are old, air conditioning costs extra, and most staff don't speak English, which made communication difficult. The food was bland and repetitive. For four days we couldn't get a proper dining table, and staff mistakenly treated us as part of a group of German tourists, so they wouldn't let us choose the next day's menu. It caused a lot of confusion and discomfort. We were very dissatisfied and don't recommend it. The price doesn't match the service or living conditions.

The price seemed far too high for the service and conditions, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. Even drinking water cost extra, which is outrageous for any hotel. The rooms are old, air conditioning costs an additional fee, most of the staff barely speak English, and the food is repetitive and tasteless. It doesn't live up to its three-star rating. For four days we couldn't get a decent table in the dining room. Staff somehow took us for part of a German tourist group and wouldn't let us choose meals for the next day, which created confusion and real discomfort. A woman with short dark bobbed hair, glasses, a white T-shirt and black trousers was especially unpleasant. She took dishes away before we had finished and acted aggressively and disrespectfully toward guests. She didn't speak English. The only employee who left me with a positive impression was a young man, possibly called Emilio. He was polite, ready to help, and tried to treat guests with respect.

WiFi was only available in reception and the dining and breakfast areas. The hotel is just across one street from the beach. I don't understand the reviews that completely trash the place. It's cheap, so what do you expect? I stayed nine days and had a nice enough time. The building dates from the 70s or 80s, and it's the only one along the beach strip that's still family-owned rather than run by a corporation. I kind of liked that. Sure, it's not modern, but I mostly went to the beach and used the hotel to sleep and eat. Rooms were cleaned daily with disinfectant, with the usual service, fresh towels and bedding, and the floor cleaned. The bathroom was small but worked. Staff were very friendly, with two English speakers at reception and a funny Italian guy at dinner. The food was okay for the price. We had some very good, fancy meals mixed in with ordinary Italian home cooking. Overall, I wouldn't call it three-star food, mostly because breakfast was subpar. I liked the home cooking, though. I don't want continental food every day, and it gave me a taste of Italian cuisine like staying at a B&B would. All in all, it was alright and a nice stay.

A nice, inexpensive hotel with friendly staff. We managed to communicate using a strange mix of English, German, Italian, and sign language :) The restaurant food was quite good, though breakfast could use an upgrade.

The people were quite nice, and the older lady who owns the place can communicate in German. The hotel itself is old and unclean, and the WiFi didn't work. The food was okay, but we got stomachaches from time to time. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
