Bellevue Hotel

The only good thing was the location. You can find other hotels in a good location, and I really wouldn’t recommend booking this one. It wasn’t worth the money, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to have this kind of stay. The room was very small and dated, and the bed was tiny with an old spring mattress that was very uncomfortable. The AC barely worked, blew dust from the vents, and looked so old it felt more like a fan. The bathroom was dirty, with poor hygiene. The toilet seat and bidet hadn’t been cleaned properly, the shower leaked water everywhere, and the towels had holes in them, pic attached. Most shocking, there was an open drain in the middle of the bathroom with mosquitoes and insects crawling out. The overview on MakeMyTrip also felt misleading. Indian breakfast options were highlighted, but none were available. The staff struggled to communicate in English, let alone the Indian languages mentioned. Smoking rooms were shown during booking but weren’t actually available, which felt misleading and like a trap to attract bookings. The hotel seriously needs renovations and should reconsider taking guests until basic hospitality and maintenance standards are met. I wouldn’t recommend it even for one night.

The view from the top room was phenomenal. Fabio upgraded us at no charge, so a big thank you to him. For the value, I’d give it ten stars if I could. The staff we met were very friendly, and our bed and washing room were spacious. Everything was very, very clean, and there was nothing to complain about during our stay. We’ll come again. The location is fantastic, though in winter there are fewer amenities nearby. This was my first time booking a hotel and it was a great choice. The only downside was that there’s no kitchen. Maybe I’ll come back in summer.

There’s plenty of space and the service is great. The balcony has a wonderful view, and the hotel is right by the beach. The new train station entrance is now only a 10-minute walk away.
