Hotel Ambra

We had booked eight days, but left after one night and canceled because of the conditions. The room was advertised as 16 square meters, yet it was so small that opening the door put us right in front of the bed, with no room for our luggage. The bathroom was less than a meter wide and nearly impossible to turn around in. The shower door wouldn’t close and leaked, leaving a mess in the tiny room. Service was awful. This is a tourist destination, but nobody spoke English well enough to communicate with us, even after we tried talking to four different people. In response to the owners, we checked out of room 104 on 20 August 2024. We have nothing to hide. Please check the language abilities of your staff.

The staff were very kind and welcoming, but the place was poorly cleaned. The location also felt quite bad, far from the city centre, with nothing interesting to see nearby. Even the nearby restaurants were below average, except for Da Lele, which we really enjoyed.

The room was practical and clean, and the staff were pleasant and professional. The location was good, but breakfast fell below average, with limited choice and poor quality.

The room was clean and the staff were helpful, and the beach is very close. You do have to pay to use it. Breakfast was poor, and I’ve stayed in better hotels.
