Getting around without a car was easy: the hotel is 100 meters from the sea, the Metromare stop, and bus line 11, which runs between Rimini and Riccione. Free parking is available too. It’s a family-run place with renovated, clean rooms that have air conditioning and a television. The manager is friendly and attentive to what guests need, and the hotel offers good value.

We stayed the last weekend of August in this family-run B&B in Marebello, in a quiet part of Rimini. It’s easy to reach by public transport, either Metromare or line 11, which goes to Rimini city center and Riccione. Fabio, the owner, greeted us warmly, just as you’d expect from Romagna hospitality. Special thanks to him and his family. Our room was basic but clean. The shower is at floor level, so the bathroom floor gets wet, including around the toilet and a bit of the sink, but it all dries. The toilet seat wasn’t standing, though we had no trouble finding somewhere to use the bathroom. :) Breakfast leaned heavily sweet, with little savory food, but there was a good selection and fresh croissants that were clearly from a bakery. It wasn’t an endless spread, but still made for an excellent breakfast. We also had dinner there, with very homemade food that reminded me of eating at my grandmother’s. The trofie with stracciatella, tomatoes, and arugula pesto were delicious, followed by classic lasagna and a lemon veal cutlet with French fries. I went back for more pasta since there was some left over. Fruit at the end was very welcome, as it can be hard to find. Excellent dinner at a bargain price. I absolutely recommend this place.
