Hotel Azzurra

Getting around was difficult because there’s no elevator and the stairs are hard to manage. The location is good, but the room was dirty and didn’t look like the online photos. I’m not sure why the rating is so high when the stay didn’t feel worth the money.

Being so close to the beach made the location ideal, and we could borrow bikes whenever we wanted at no charge. Breakfast was great, too. More than anything, though, we’ll remember how kind Gigi, Kathy, the owners, and the whole team were. This was the best part of our trip to Rimini. We’d happily come back and recommend it.

The jukebox and great art add to Hotel Azzurra’s charm, but what I’ll really miss is how kind everyone was. They made me feel like family, which is rare for a hotel. Grazie a tutti. Everything else was a 10/10 too: the location, staff, rooms, cleaning, and breakfast.

You can borrow bicycles from the hotel, and the accommodation is cheap. The coffee at breakfast is freshly made, which was the one bright spot there, since the food selection was a complete mess. The hotel sits on the main street, and the noise at night echoes right into the room. I could also hear people talking and using toilets in other rooms. The air conditioners were dirty, and there was dust everywhere. The street noise was awful, and I definitely won’t return.
