Hotel Bellerofonte

The hotel is near the beach, and walking to the historic city center was pleasant. It’s very clean, with the room cleaned daily, and ours had a small refrigerator, hair dryer, and balcony. Breakfast was tasty and made with high quality fresh products. Jessica and all the stuff were kind and helpful throughout. It feels like a place made with passion, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it!

The thin walls made it hard to sleep well. I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. My room was also very small and had no balcony, so there was nowhere to hang wet clothes. The bathroom was extremely tiny and would be almost impossible to use for an overweight person. The location is fairly close to the beach, about a 10-minute walk, and there’s a bus stop nearby, which is handy. But breakfast was a letdown: it was the same each day, mostly sweet food, around 70%. There was no fresh fruit, only canned fruit that tasted bad. It was frustrating to face the same choices every morning, especially when you don’t like sweets on an empty stomach. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The pool turned out to be quite pleasant and big enough, even though from outside we first thought it looked too small. The beach is about a 10-minute walk, maybe less, and with a rental car the location works well for trips to places like San Marino and Mirabilandia. There are free bicycles to rent and a bar open 24 hours. We stayed seven days and remember it fondly. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was okay, though the same every day and I’d have liked more variety. At this price range, though, it’s much like other places of this kind in Italy. Recommended!

The coffee was amazing, and breakfast was quite complete. This is a family-run hotel, so the Italian hosts are kind and attentive. It’s just a few blocks from the main coastal street, with the beach and the old downtown, where the former Roman Empire city lies, both within walking distance.
