Hotel Crisvan

The homemade desserts were incredibly good, and the waitresses were kind and helpful. Rooms and service were excellent, and the location was very good too. The value for money is great. I'd recommend it for a family holiday or a trip with friends, really any occasion.

The recently renovated hotel is beautiful and carefully looked after. Our room was spacious, nicely furnished, and impeccably clean. Breakfast offered plenty of variety for different tastes. The staff were exceptionally kind and always ready to help with whatever we needed. I had a perfect stay at Hotel Crisvan and will definitely return.

The location near the sea is a plus, but our stay was disappointing. There was dust and fluff on the floor, and the air conditioning was noisy, ineffective, and had no real controls beyond an old temperature knob. Even after hours, the room remained hot. The vent blew straight onto the third bed, where our son was meant to sleep, so we gave up that bed to avoid health problems and paid for a triple room we could only use as a double. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially for families with children or anyone with mobility needs. Parking and getting to the hotel were also difficult. There is no private parking or nearby space. Paid blue-line spaces were about a six-minute walk away, or there was a discounted lot ten minutes away. Before booking, I specifically asked about spaces for guests with disabilities and was told there were some “a few meters from the hotel.” They were assigned spaces, so we couldn't use them. Every evening from 8:30 PM to midnight, the access road was closed to traffic. We had to stop in a no-parking area to unload luggage and the children, then go find a space. That was especially awkward for families and people with limited mobility. I'd originally given two stars, but changed it to one after the owners' embarrassing reply. They need to be able to accept criticism. I'm attaching a Google Maps screenshot of the disabled spaces, with the assignment number clearly visible. If you don't know what you're talking about, you'd be better off staying quiet. I stayed on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, when the road was closed. Their reply about the third bed said the air conditioning couldn't be both inefficient and have an annoying airflow, calling those complaints contradictory. It came across as incredibly arrogant. So now you're energy engineers? Explain how a very low flow of air at 18-20 degrees, aimed at a person, can be annoying but still not cool a room that gets sun for half the day. Incredible.

Good evening. We went as a couple and thought the hotel was really lovely. The people were very kind, the food was really good, and everything was perfectly clean. Nothing was missing.
