Ferretti Beach Hotel

The elevator was my main frustration. It seemed to handle only one thing at a time, so you had to wait until nobody else was using it before calling it. At busy times, that could mean a long wait. You can take the stairs if you like, but anyone with mobility issues will need patience. The top suite itself was lovely, with a king-size bed, a pullout couch in a separate room, a two-person jetted tub, double shower, and private balcony jacuzzi. Everything looked fresh, white, and clean, with a beautiful sea and beach view. The pool is large and nice, though crowded at peak times. It's very deep in the main section, so even adults can't touch the bottom; there are smaller shallow spots at both ends that may suit children better. The restaurant changes its menu daily, with around six options. Our meal was fine, nothing special.

The biking was fantastic, and the guides were knowledgeable and personable. My wife and I came for a week with a Battaglin bicycle tour and were delighted with our stay at Ferretti Beach Hotel. The hotel is modern, spotless, and very well managed, with a fantastic room and friendly, efficient staff. The restaurant team was great too, and the food and wine were very good. I was there at the same time as "elphiebird's" group, and the hotel and restaurant staff worked incredibly hard to keep everyone happy. Lunch and dinner had at least THIRTY antipasto choices each day, though apparently that still wasn't enough variety for some. Breakfast was an incredible spread. Manual and his waitstaff were fabulous, and he went out of his way to help us. I'd recommend the hotel and Battiglin to my family and friends without hesitation. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Right by the beach and very central, the hotel also has a spa with a great massage service. The restaurant serves fresh, good food, with a nice buffet of appetizers and vegetables. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed the comfortable air-conditioned rooms, pool, and good breakfast. The staff were kind, and the hotel is close to the beach. A nice place to stay.
