Hotel Harmony

We had a great two-day break and are definitely coming back. The staff were so welcoming and attentive, even though we booked at the last minute. We stayed in a simple, clean double room with a balcony on the fifth floor, and the view was amazing. The rooftop pool is wonderful, too. Pool access is included if you book directly with the hotel, so I recommend using their website or calling. Breakfast included vegan choices, and if you couldn’t find vegan cakes, you could ask a staff member. Really good value for money. Grazie :)

The staff were so friendly. When we first got to the room, we found there were no towels, but the housekeeper brought some quickly and with a smile. Breakfast was tasty, with a decent selection and especially good sweets. The price was great for the value, and as long as you’re not expecting luxury, you can have a nice stay in Rimini. Try to avoid the first floor near the staircase. That was where our room was, facing the elevator, and the old hotel has quite a few outdated things. The doors aren’t soundproof, so we heard other doors slamming and people walking by in the evening. Luckily, nobody was noisy after 10PM, so we slept fine. The rooftop pool looks marvelous and has a great coast view, and the hotel is well placed near the beach.

The food, room, and view all added to the sense of harmony here, but the service stood out most. I’m vegan, so after booking I asked whether there would be breakfast options for me. They gave me an overwhelming choice 😁, from warm grilled vegetables to croissants, cookies, cereal toppings, and yoghurts. You could tell the food was made with care because everything tasted amazing. Well done to everyone running the hotel and providing such exceptional service 🙂

The room was modern and clean, and I liked having a balcony. The location was convenient, with the center not far away, a supermarket nearby, and restaurants and the beach around five minutes on foot. Still, we had a bad experience with the hotel staff. They weren’t very welcoming when we arrived, and nobody told us the checkout time or Wi-Fi password. I’d arranged two taxis for me and my fiancé a day ahead; the receptionist called and confirmed, but when it was time to leave, no taxi had been ordered. At checkout I expected to pay city tax, which should have been 2 euro per person per night, or 12 euro for three nights for two people. Booking showed the same amount, but the man at reception, who didn’t speak English, asked for 22. He took the money and gave me no receipt. I felt we’d been scammed, but paid because I couldn’t make myself understood and needed to get to the airport. The hotel itself was also very loud, with banging and other noises from around 4 am until after midnight, sometimes right outside our room. This was inside the hotel, not from the surrounding street. The shower cabin is tiny, so someone heavier might struggle. There were no glasses in the room and no table on the balcony. We won’t stay here again, and I strongly advise anyone looking for a restful break to avoid it.
