Hotel Olimpic Rimini

The Olimpic Hotel is really close to the sea, and we had a great time there on holiday with my friends. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful, making the service excellent. There was a big choice of food in the kitchen, with good service and typical Italian cuisine. We'll definitely come back next year.

The staff were very rude, and someone took a photo of me while I was eating without permission because apparently we weren't allowed more than one croissant. That limit hadn't been mentioned beforehand. That was on top of dirty rooms and towels, showers that didn't work, bad and undercooked food, and a 3.5 € daily charge for air conditioning. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The room was too small for four people, and the Wi-Fi was very slow, with the signal dropping in the room. We had to use the same table napkin for three days and it was never cleaned. The owner and staff were very impolite, and the food was bad, sometimes inedible and undercooked. Air conditioning costs 3.5€ per person per day, and bringing food or drinks into your room is forbidden. I really don't recommend this place.

The food had problems too, including undercooked meat, and apparently only one croissant was allowed, though nobody had told us before they took a photo of our friend. The staff were particularly inexperienced, and the receptionist was rude. They tried to blame us for various things we hadn't done to get more money. Rooms, dining tables, and balconies were dirty. Much of the furniture was shabby, and the sheets and towels had holes. Some rooms had showers that didn't work, while others had small bathrooms without shower cabins. You can't bring your own food or drinks, even water, to your room. Wi-Fi was only on the first floor, and the connection was poor, with some friends unable to connect. Air conditioning costs 3.5€ a day. Overall, a really bad hotel. I wouldn't recommend it, especially to vegetarians or vegans.
