We liked the spacious Superior room and bathroom, and the mini fridge was included in the price. The location was handy, close to the beach on a side street, and about a 15-minute walk from the Grand Hotel. The floor maids kept everything clean and were very kind, while the reception staff were always ready with a smile. The chef deserves compliments: meals were excellent, generous, and varied. Breakfast had cakes, freshly squeezed juice, croissants, savory choices, juices, jams, honey, and more. Being able to pick lunch and dinner through WhatsApp was a great idea. We spent a week at this family-run hotel.

Mirko, the owner, was professional and extremely kind. We had a quiet Superior room with two balconies and an outdoor lounge spot where we could relax. The hotel is conveniently set on a side street off Via A. Vespucci. Thanks, and see you next time!

The vegetable buffet was the one good part, with excellent vegetables. The restaurant otherwise felt focused on saving money, with skimpy dishes, and the service needs a major overhaul. Communication with customers was poor. We ordered food on WhatsApp and got half portions instead of full ones. They rushed to clear plates while we were still eating, then put on a fake smile that left us disappointed at the end of the meal. We gave them everything, even a quarter of wine, and they still asked for a small bottle of water. Not even a coffee was offered. In fifty years of traveling, that has never happened to me. I'm speechless. What a disappointment. NEVER AGAIN AT PICCINELLI.
