Hotel Santanna

For a couple of nights, I can recommend it, especially given the good price for what you get. The room was clean, had hot water, a desk where I could work, and Wi-Fi that was okay. It was spacious enough for one person. The beach is a ten-minute walk away. The airport and downtown are each about an hour on foot. There isn't a common area or bathroom soap, and the beds aren't very comfortable. Sound insulation is nonexistent, so you can practically hear everything from next door.

The woman at the front desk was nice and helpful, and there's a rooftop lounge with a sea view. Those were the only redeeming features of our five-night stay as a family of three, with our eight-year-old. Our room was tiny: a double bed, a single bed, two nightstands, and an old two-door wardrobe. It was dirty when we arrived, with spiderwebs in several places, a rusty balcony railing, and old-looking outlets. The room was cleaned once during our stay, and otherwise stayed dirty and sandy. The sea view claim is only half true, since you can see a small piece of sea above the treetops. The minibar-sized fridge barely cooled, to perhaps 10 degrees. That's a problem because there's no food at the hotel, no breakfast or restaurant. There used to be a restaurant, but it's closed. The elevator is also closed off, though it isn't out of order. We were on the third floor, so carrying a week's luggage up and down the stairs was a pain. The front desk was almost always empty. For issues, you get a WhatsApp number. Check-in is at 16:00, and the man who let us in arrived exactly then, not a minute early. Also, weekend parking in Rimini is a nightmare. The hotel has no parking of its own, though you can rent a space at a private lot about 100 meters away for €15 a night. Hauling everything between the lot, hotel, and third floor was very disappointing. I won't return to Hotel Sant'Anna, and wouldn't recommend it. The place has potential, but it isn't being looked after. Maybe if they renovate the rooms and reopen the restaurant, it could be worth considering, but right now, absolutely no. EDIT: I read the owner's reply. Everyone can decide whether they want to deal with a host who calls a paying customer a liar instead of cleaning the rooms. It's not the customer's job to clean. This is unheard of, and I say avoid this hotel at all costs. Michele, check your bathroom, that's where I took the photos of the spiderwebs. Also, your hotel isn't cheap, and the room did not have a ceiling fan. If anyone is lying here, it's you.

We had a room with a balcony and an amazing sea view. The rooms were cozy, comfortable, clean, and tidy, and the hotel is right by the beach. Restaurants, bars, and a bus stop are close by. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

The room was cute and basic, and the bathroom had clearly been renovated recently. The hotel is easy to get to, just a few minutes on foot from the Metromare bus from the train station. Staff were extremely friendly, very much up to Romagna standards. The walls are paper thin, though, so it can get loud at night if your neighbors are partying. Still, I had a very pleasant stay and thought the price was great for what you get. Recommended.
