The food wasn't all bad, but the bread was hard as a rock. My best friend got macaroni with green pesto and red tomato dots on the plate, as if plates were being refilled without being properly cleared. Pasta was the main course every day. The room was awful. The shower seemed to cover the whole bathroom, leaving the toilet, shelves, mirror and sink wet, and the floor flooded. The air conditioner dripped too. There was hair all over the sheets, and the blanket was just a piece of fabric. Our room had a terrible smell, though I can't say whether that was true of the rest of the hotel. Room service never came, the TV didn't work, and other guests seemed to get better treatment. We paid the same price as our friends. When we raised the problems, nobody cared and they brushed us off, which made it uncomfortable to ask for anything else. The customer service was nonexistent and nobody was friendly. On the last day they wouldn't return our 20-euro deposit because we hadn't taken out our own trash. I'm never coming back and can't recommend hotel Santiago in Rimini Italy.

The WiFi, air conditioning and heating didn't work, and we weren't given toilet paper. There was only a tiny bar of hand soap to use in the shower, and the towels and sheets were itchy. The room flooded, the bin wasn't emptied, and the rooms were never cleaned. Whatever went down the sink came back up. Staff yelled at us, and breakfast was cake. Other than all that, a "great stay".

The faucets are broken, there's mold on the walls, and everything seems to be falling apart. None of the staff speak English. Don't be fooled by the three stars.
