There’s no private parking or in-room safe. You can use a paid parking lot that stays open 24 hours. The hotel is about 200m from the beach, and the room has an internal bathroom and air conditioning.

A pleasant, no-frills place near the beach, with a free beach close by. We were on the second floor in room 222, and breakfast was included. Check-in was at the Baden-Baden Hotel. There’s also a restaurant on the hotel’s ground floor, though I don’t think it’s part of the hotel, where we got 10% off. Our room was small but cozy, with a TV, air conditioning, and electric blinds. The balcony was next to the neighboring room’s balcony, divided by a metal partition. There was also a door between the rooms, kept closed. We had no neighbors, but adjoining rooms could be handy for a family traveling together. Breakfast was great, with tasty pies and croissants. About 10 minutes away, a friendly older man rents bikes for €5 for 5 hours, with shorter or longer rentals available. Prices there are much better than in Lima, for example.

We stayed for one night after reading reviews that didn’t seem too bad. Check-in was at 2:00 PM, and the parking hassle started as soon as we arrived on Tuesday afternoon. The paid lots nearby were full, so we had to hunt around for another place. We unloaded our bags, left the car briefly, and headed to check in, only to find a note on the door saying we had to go to Hotel Baden. Nobody had told us this, not even on the phone, and the car was flashing its no-parking lights the whole time. We eventually got the keys and could drop off our bags. Getting to the room meant one flight of stairs to the door, another up to the first floor, then a few steps down. The recently renovated rooms are small and basic, with simple furnishings, a gray bathroom, and quick, poorly maintained finishes. There’s air conditioning and a TV, and ours had a balcony facing the neighboring street. Cleanliness was disappointing, with dust and windows visibly scuffed by previous guests. Maintenance and hygiene were poor, including in the building itself. You can hear everything through the walls, especially noisy neighbors, and the doors slam so loudly it sounds as if the whole building is coming down. The kitchen of the adjacent restaurant is below the rooms, so food and frying smells are unavoidable, along with outdoor noise. We ate breakfast at a pastry shop instead, since it cost €8 per person. Maybe the reasonable price is the main advantage, though it seems to come with poor service. The sea is just a short walk away, which is convenient. Basic rooms, no real parking, no elevator, and close to the sea. If that works for you, fine.

Parking was the one downside. The manager was very kind about it, though. You leave your key, and they’ll move the car if needed. Everything else was great: clean, new rooms, friendly staff, a good breakfast, and a family-friendly feel, including with kids. The hotel is in an excellent location and good value for money. I’d book here again if I returned, and I recommend the restaurant downstairs too.

This is my go-to place when I visit Rimini. The rooms are newly renovated, spotlessly clean, and have large bathrooms. Book, and they’ll sort out all the details over WhatsApp. It’s close to the beach, and the restaurant downstairs is worth trying. They don’t serve breakfast, but there are excellent pastry shops and bars nearby.
