Hotel Trafalgar

I left yesterday 30.07.2025, and I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. I found rats in the yard everywhere and cockroaches, it felt like a disaster. The rooms were clean, though, and the girls doing that work did their job. Maria Anna, the owner, was extremely unpleasant in my experience. She looked at you badly if you went to the buffet more than once. I personally heard her yelling at the waiters about putting too much on our plates, then saying loudly, "look at these people how much they eat". The waiters were very kind, but they were made fun of. A horrible hotel.

We paid about $380 US for one night, but on the day of our stay the same rooms were listed on Expedia for about 315.00 US. We had prepaid, though we could have canceled with 24 hours’ notice and booked the same room for much less. When we raised the price difference, the female desk attendant said rates change regularly and she couldn’t help. This experience would make me discourage anyone from prepaying through Expedia or any hotel. Expedia isn’t responsible for the response, but it reflects on the service from both Expedia and the hotel. At checkout, the female guest desk attendant also refused to help us arrange a taxi by phone or app. She had been abrupt and rude to the person before us, and treated us the same way. A young man, who I believe was a part-time staff member and a university law student, came to our rescue and called a taxi to the airport. We’ve traveled extensively in Europe over four of the past five years, for five to six weeks each trip. For these two reasons, we would definitely dissuade anyone from going to Trafalgar.

Lots of services, functional rooms, and a really clean place. The food was great and plentiful, classic Rimini hospitality. Thanks to Mr. Giorgio and the staff!

Super!
