Hotel Universo

OK

I thought the price was very good for what was included. The full-board package covered meals and drinks, and table service was good. Food was just adequate apart from breakfast and the consistently good-quality vegetable buffet. The small pool was usable, and the sea was about 200 meters away. The partner beach club had plenty of amenities and free activities, including ping pong, bocce, beach tennis and volleyball, hot showers, cards, and board games. In my room, the bed was firm but comfortable, and the safe, air conditioning, and small balcony all worked. The shower was nearly full size, but its plastic screen stuck to my skin while I washed, and the bathroom window was closed.

Bagno 96, the partner beach resort, was another thing we really enjoyed. The place is informal and welcoming, and the value for money is hard to beat. It could do with some updating, and the pool is clean but the space around it felt a little small. Our room was spacious and comfortable with air conditioning, though a bit dated. The rooms were cleaned meticulously and seemed attentive to pets’ needs. They welcomed our furry friends, even supplying litter for my cats when we needed it. The food was amazing, with compliments to the chef, and all the staff were polite, courteous, and knowledgeable.

Marco and Mariangela are wonderful owners who were always on hand when we needed anything. Pets are welcome, the lunch and dinner service was excellent, and the price was good. The sea is close by, too.
