Matteo and Simona were wonderful hosts, and there are great restaurants close by. The place has what you need for a weekend away or a longer stay, tucked away from the busy main street but only a two-minute walk from the sea. Even though towel changes are normally every 2-3 days, which makes sense for a one-star hotel, our rooms were cleaned and the beds made each day. The owners also checked whether we wanted fresh towels.

Staying at Hotel Carmen felt like visiting friends. Matteo and Simona make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive, and the hotel is lovely, well cared for, and decorated with real taste. They're warm, attentive hosts who clearly care about their guests and look after everyone with genuine kindness. We felt completely at ease. The Heidenreich Family would happily recommend it.

For us, this feels like home. It's the kind of place where you can truly relax, while the sea, restaurants, shops, walks, games, and other things you might need are all close by. There's also plenty of free parking nearby, which makes the place a sure choice for us. This was our second year coming back to Hotel Carmen in Viserba with the family, and we'll keep returning because Simona and Matteo offer such unconditional kindness and hospitality. When a holiday gives you that feeling of being at home, you don't need anything else. Thank you from the heart, and see you next year. Sadly, our holiday is nearly over as I write this, and it's a shame we live so far away. This is our second stay at this lovely hotel, and Simona and Matteo are genuinely kind. The location is handy for the center and beach, and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is generous, with croissants to suit every taste, savory choices, yogurt, juices, and sometimes cakes Matteo has made himself. Compliments for all of it. Laura and Andrea from Genoa
