The Napoleon statues and paintings are everywhere, and the decor really does feel like stepping into the 1970s, in both the rooms and shared spaces. I loved it. For a 3* hotel, this place is excellent: the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, breakfast is included and great, and the train station is just across the road.

Andrea and Federico were kind and helpful the whole time. It’s a warm, welcoming family-run hotel, and a comfortable, convenient base. The train station is only a 2-minute walk away, and the historic city center is about 5 minutes on foot. Definitely recommended.

There’s a wonderful spread at breakfast, and it’s a nice building in a very handy spot for both the train and buses. The railway can be noisy late at night, and some bedroom windows aren’t double glazed.

The rooms feel a little old, but everything was clean, the water pressure was good, and the front desk staff were nice. I was happy with the stay. I picked it because it was cheap and close to the train station for a very late arrival.

We didn’t stay at hotel Napoleon, but stopped there on our way to San Marino, and Andrei (excuse my spelling) welcomed my parents and me so warmly. The hospitality and service at the front desk were incredible. Thank you for being so kind and generous!
