Hotel Ambasciatori

All four of our rooms had sea views, which was a really nice surprise, and housekeeping kept them very clean. Ivan and Mykola were especially polite and helpful, spoke several languages, and made meals feel welcoming. We enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, the nearby sea, and the location, and had a great vacation overall. Still, the “all inclusive” description doesn’t quite fit: water at lunch and dinner, espresso or cappuccino, beach sunbeds, and parking all cost extra, though thermos coffee is free. The pool is too deep for children, and there are no kids’ activities or entertainment. These details should be made clear on booking sites. We’d rate the stay 4 out of 5. Thanks for the hospitality.

The cockroaches in our room were the biggest concern. We reported them four days before leaving, but nothing was done while we were there, and nobody offered to move us or provide meaningful help. After checkout, the hotel offered a €100 voucher toward a future stay of at least seven days, which wasn’t useful to us since we don’t plan to return. Service also dropped noticeably once we’d paid in full, and we felt unsupported when problems came up. There were some good parts. We were welcomed warmly and professionally, and the restaurant served good food. But only one server spoke English well, which made things difficult for guests who don’t speak Italian. The lift was painfully slow, so with our 3-month-old we had to carry the stroller up and down the stairs several times. For a four-star hotel, the practical support and care for families fell short, and I can’t recommend it in light of these issues.

The hotel is right by the beach, and the town centre is an easy walk away. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the services were good quality.

Breakfast had what I needed and tasted good, and lunch and dinner offered a wide choice of dishes. I’d only suggest giving lunch another 15 minutes so it feels less rushed. Most rooms also have a lovely sea view. The rooms were kept very clean each day, and the staff were so kind and helpful that I felt almost at home. I had a lovely stay, would happily recommend it to friends, and hope to return. Thank you! ❤️
