National Hotel

At the start of our holiday week, the hotel brought our luggage from its own car park right to our room, a fantastic touch. Reception were very friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Any requests were taken care of, and the whole team stayed welcoming and attentive. The private pool was checked and cared for daily, with fresh towels, and they kept testing the water. Housekeeping did a great job too: clean rooms, fresh towels, and an excellent bed every day. Staff were always busy, even watering the plants and cleaning windows and other glass. We think this Hotel National deserves more than four stars and highly recommend it. Thank you to the whole team for such outstanding work 🙌❤️.

The family atmosphere is what made National Hotel feel so special. Sara, the owner, and the whole team welcomed us like family, knew our names, and greeted us with genuine smiles. Though it's a large hotel, it feels like a small boutique place, and being in the same family all along gives it a very different character from the big chains. There are stories and history here for guests to discover. We loved the sea-view room and watched spectacular sunrises from the balcony each morning. The food was delicious, the facilities were great, and the rooms and pool were comfortable and clean. Breakfast and dinner were so good that we didn't need to look elsewhere for meals; we didn't try lunch. The housekeeping team worked hard to keep the room sparkling every day. We didn't use the spa or gym, though if you do, the terrace view while exercising sounds lovely. The whole team clearly cares about making guests comfortable and helping them make memories. We travel a lot, and this was one of our best stays. We were sad to leave for our next stop, but will definitely return and recommend this beautiful hotel to friends and family. Breakfast was very good, though it had the familiar basic spread you find at European hotels. The breakfast room was pleasant and looked out over the beach. I stayed on the fifth floor in a nice room with a beach view, which I imagine costs quite a bit more in the busier months. Great location.

A nice stay at a friendly local hotel, with multilingual staff and good choices at breakfast. The sea view from our own balcony was great. Rooms are on the small side, and the double beds are just standard doubles, so don't expect much room to stretch out. There's no tea or coffee setup, and parking is seldom available, meaning we usually had to park on the road. It was quite expensive, though hotels around there tend to be pricey too.
