Pian Del Pigro

A fabulous place, just 10 minutes by mountain bike from the beaches of Rimini.

We stayed in the red room, which was spacious and cool. It’s a great spot for people who love animals and nature. There’s a fantastic shared area with a fully equipped kitchen, plus a large outdoor patio for eating. Breakfast is a generous selection of sweet things, including homemade biscuits, cake, and jam, with a different jam each morning! The farm’s fruit and vegetables are excellent quality.

The location was beautiful and peaceful, with a large shared garden where our three small children could safely run around among nature and little farm animals. The owners were truly kind and helpful, and even introduced the kids to some of the animals firsthand. The shared spaces for eating and using the kitchen were welcoming and rustic. We found this agriturismo somewhat by chance at the last minute for a short spring getaway, and it couldn’t have worked better for us. Highly recommended.

There are three rooms: ours had three beds, another has four for larger families, and one is downstairs for anyone who can’t climb stairs. The many animals make it a good place for children, and the fruit trees suit anyone who likes the countryside near the sea. There are kiwi, jujube, plum, and other trees, and they provide shaded parking. The owner was kind, and the place is worth visiting for that alone. We stayed two nights and were pleasantly surprised. A remote-controlled gate protects the property, and our room was large and well-appointed, with beamed ceilings, blackout shutters, and air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price. I asked the owner for plant-based milk and could choose from what was available. The homemade cake was excellent, as were the locally sourced plums. The large porch, with rustic tables and old barrels, is lovely.
