The host Francesco really tries to make guests happy, and the food was unbelievably tasty. The room was clean and cosy, though very small: a double bed, little table and two chairs, medium wardrobe, two small bedside tables, and a bathroom with toilet, sink, mirror, and an improvised shower. I was disappointed there was no balcony, since we had been told there would be one. This isn't some Italian paradise, you know. For getting around, the historic city centre is a ten-minute walk away. Paid beaches are only 3-5 minutes on foot, while reaching a free beach takes at least 20 minutes. All things considered, I think three is a fair rating.

We chose this hotel after seeing pictures of the renovated rooms. The room wasn't as clean as we'd expected, but once we raised it later, they dealt with it appropriately. The breakfast room was another matter: tablecloths were already stained and weren't changed between guests, and the table service seemed questionable. We hope the feedback helps the hotel improve.

I had a lovely winter stay. The reception was welcoming and always available, and the room was spacious, renovated, comfortable, and spotless. The cleaning staff were great too. Food was simple but nicely done, and the very friendly, professional chef treated me to varied traditional dishes. I was very satisfied and would recommend it.
