Villa Livia

I enjoyed my holiday here. The rooms weren't anything special, but they did the job.

After 24 hours of stress involving our tour operator/company JT Touristik, which I don't recommend, we finally got moved to a different hotel. This place is the worst 2-star hotel I've ever seen and should be shut down in its current state. There was no real service. You had to check in at the neighboring hotel, where the described pool and jacuzzi were also located. Room 26 was tiny and filthy, with painted walls. The closets were disgusting and nearly falling apart, so we couldn't use them, and the drawers had grease stains. The rusty bunk beds for the children had no upper side rails. Their mattresses were stained, dirty, full of holes, and stank of urine and who knows what else. The parents' bed was just as bad, with a makeshift slatted frame that was a joke. The air conditioner knocked loudly and dripped water, with its vent directly over the children's bed. Although the balcony was large, it looked over the kitchen, garbage cans, and bottle storage, with noise from early morning until late at night. Breakfast was at the neighboring hotel, and the buffet was so bad you practically had to fight for food. The advertised evening buffet wasn't there. Dinner was a set menu served like an assembly line. If you park inside the property, you have to give staff your car key so they can move it if someone else needs to get out.

Bugs squashed on the wall, a dirty room, and broken or missing light switches. The TV didn't work, and there was no air conditioning. Terrible place. I don't recommend it and will never stay there again.

The rooms are on the small side, but they're very clean and have all the comforts. For me, that earns five stars.
