Family Home Alpenhof

The room was cozy and nicely designed, and the view from it was stunning. But the staff put us off. We didn’t get a single smile at check-in or check-out, and the welcome felt cold. At dinner, the staff kept trying to sell us wine, even though we have three small kids and don’t drink alcohol. The dishes looked fancy but didn’t taste that way. There’s also a ping pong room that feels like a dungeon. It’s a lovely-looking place, but we won’t be back for the hospitality.

We’ve stayed at plenty of family resorts, but this one really stood out for its intimacy. It’s a heaven for families and children any time of year. The food, service, mini club, and facilities are unmatched. You can’t go wrong choosing this place.

What really sets this family hotel apart is the childcare. Our son loved the Happy Club so much that we had to drag him out to spend time with us. The staff there were kind and clearly wonderful with kids. Reception were also incredibly helpful with all our questions. Our room was small, yet clean and spacious. The food was tasty, and the kitchen and restaurant staff worked hard. We’ve stayed in several family hotels, and this one is among the best. We even added an extra night because leaving was so hard!

The daycare teachers sara, Celia and elana were amazing. My son made soap, pizza, and lots of crafts with them, and even went on a llama trek. The shuttle took him to ski school and brought him back. We loved the food, especially dessert, and Mateo was the best. Our family had a wonderful week at the alpenhof family resort. The facilities were modern and top notch, with heated bathroom floors and heated swimming areas. We booked the smallest room for three, but it was large. We wished we could stay forever!
