Residence Grünwald

One of the best places we've stayed on a ski trip. You can ski straight down to the slopes from these great apartments, and the owner was exceptionally kind and helpful. We also loved the afternoon tea with baked treats from her husband. Prices were reasonable, too. We'll be back.

Monika's homemade desserts were a real treat, and she was a discreet, thoughtful host who gave us great advice. We also appreciated being able to order bread, croissants, or doughnuts for the next morning. On our first visit to this residence, we had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was comfortable and spacious, with simple, charming, practical furnishings. The little dining corner felt especially intimate, and the two-sided balcony looked out toward the mountains.

For our hiking trip to Valles, the location worked perfectly. It's a bit far from the main towns, so getting around by car is needed. The residence has a lovely traditional Trentino feel and was clean and well cared for. The family running it were friendly and helpful.

Fresh bread and other things can be brought to your door in the morning if you ask, and there's a garage for both cars and ski gear. The guesthouse is friendly and lovely, close to the ski area, and easy to reach by bus or car. You can walk to a clothing shop and two supermarkets, and there's a great sauna on site. My favorite part was the free spread of delicious cakes each day from 3 to 8 pm. Wi-Fi is available, but the bandwidth wasn't enough by today's standards.
