Even when the hotel was full, its size meant everyone still had their privacy. The whole place has been renovated, too. This is a five-star experience, not four. The owners and staff are so friendly, always smiling, and the service is highly professional without feeling stiff. The food is excellent throughout the day, and the spa and massages are perfect. Patricia has golden hands. Everything I can think of is already taken care of here. It's been a long time since we've found a hotel this high quality and still so welcoming on our travels.

Our week at 'Hotel Sonnenberg' was such a happy one. Maranza Village felt peaceful and sparkling from the start, and the views, fantastic pool, and tasty food filled our days. The food was excellent all week, beginning with the lovely table setting when we arrived. Afternoon cakes were delicious and there was enough variety to make us think twice about going out. Everyone on staff patiently answered my many questions and did their best to sort things out. Thank you all.

The spa and wellness facilities were exquisite, and the food was delicious with huge portions. Our renovated rooms were perfectly designed, and the owners and staff were kind and so helpful. Excellent hotel. We'll definitely come again.

They even picked us up at Fortezza train station and welcomed us with an aperitif. We had a great time, and there was nothing to criticize. Our room on the third floor had a lovely view of Maranza and was cleaned every day. It's a fantastic base for skiing, with ski in ski out access, and for hiking. There's a great pool and spa, extraordinary food at breakfast, lunch, tea time, and dinner, plus lots of activities, including ones for families with kids. We'll be back!
