We always enjoy coming back to this lovely farm, and we’re already looking forward to our next holiday in Meransen. It’s a wonderful place to truly relax, with great hiking nearby and a beautifully situated, well-equipped holiday apartment. The hosts are very friendly. They deliver bread, and you can get fresh eggs from happy hens and fresh cow’s milk. And the farm dog, Alex, is adorable.
Everything was lovely, five stars plus. The location is beautiful, prices are great, and the staff are very friendly. The food was delicious with very generous portions, plus there were several kinds of typical bread. Service was attentive and polite, and they served homemade schnapps and juices. I’d gladly return and highly recommend it.
In the evenings, you can order fresh milk from the farm’s own cows and bread rolls for the next morning. It doesn’t get much fresher than that. There’s also a ski room in the basement, and the boot dryer means your ski boots are warm and dry again by morning. The shared basement is a nice place to play games or watch a movie together. This is my second stay at Walderhof, and I’m delighted with it again. The location is great, with the Jochtal/Gitschberg ski area just a five-minute drive away. The owner and his family are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The apartments are spotless and very well equipped, with a great kitchen and dining area and a lovely bathroom. I’ll definitely be back. It’s a great choice for couples or larger groups booking several apartments.
The apartment was clean, sunny, and peaceful throughout our wonderful nine-night stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the small kitchen had everything needed for cooking. It’s one of the sunniest spots in South Tyrol. There are about twenty cows and some chickens on the property, and we could order fresh farm milk and eggs delivered to the door, along with fresh rolls every day. The farm and chalet are beautiful, and I have no complaints at all. The manager was very welcoming and shared some interesting stories with us. Alex, the farm dog, is adorable. We came with our one-and-a-half-year-old Pyrenean Mountain Dog, who had a great time with Alex. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this place!
We had a wonderful holiday in apartment No. 4. It’s a lovely, spacious place in a stunning mountain setting, and the apartment was clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. The dog in particular will stay fondly in our memory.
