Gigi was always around to help, with useful tips on places to visit. The apartments were spotless and well looked after, and the sunsets over some of the island's best views were amazing. At night you can hear the sea, and I woke up feeling refreshed. I had a wonderfully restful week and would recommend the residence if you're looking for quiet and time away from crowds. The road up might look daunting, but you get used to it.

The view is great, and the swimming spot is nice too, as long as it's not windy. We could hear the neighbours talking at night because the apartment carries sound. The road to Cota Quinta is easier in a small car.

Cota Quinta made a lovely summer base for our family week. It sits right on the sea rocks, with easy access for swimming, though there's no sandy beach and it wouldn't suit babies. Adults and teenagers should be fine. Gigi was friendly and very helpful, and the apartments had everything we needed. WiFi is only available at reception. There are about 8-9 apartments, yet it felt almost like we had the place to ourselves. Of the twelve sunbeds, usually only one was occupied at a time. The last 500m of road is very, very narrow, but we got used to it. We came in a combi car, though bigger and wider vehicles made it up too.
