Gabi and Hein were wonderful hosts. They welcomed us into their beautifully renovated stables, with a fire already going when we arrived, then invited us for dinner and breakfast. They also shared a lot about the region and its history, and helped us sort out a few bike problems. Their farm has so much charm, just like they do. We’d love to return someday.

We had just one night at b&b casa gigli, but it was such a lovely experience. Gabi and Heinz are really nice, and the place is beautiful and peaceful. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We were lucky to get a few beautiful days with autumn colors that hardly seemed real. Even so, I think this place would feel welcoming in the rain too, with a book beside the wood stove. It’s beautiful in every way and has been put together with such good taste. What Gabi and Heinz have created is admirable. They’re so sweet, and you can see the care they’ve put into every detail. Thank you!!!

The menu changes over time and uses fresh, seasonal ingredients. When I visited, I had mixed cured meats, crescentine, sausages and sauerkraut. The craft beer selection is small, but very high quality. I tried the Helles, light and refreshing, and the fuller, aromatic IPA, which is great if you like hops. Set in greenery away from the city bustle, this agriturismo has a relaxed, informal feel that works well for an evening with friends or family. If you want a genuine place in nature, with good beer and traditional food, this is a lovely choice and left me with a pleasant memory.
