We were able to get to the harbor and beach in just a short walk, and the train wasn't too far either. The place is right by the main “street” in Riomaggiore. Sarah was so sweet and helpful: she booked dinner for us and looked after our bags when we arrived before check-in. Our room had everything we needed for a couple of nights. Wish we'd had more time there.

There were 32 steps to the first floor, which felt like quite a climb. The room was very pretty and dear, and the sanitary facilities were lovely, but the window was tiny. It opened onto an alley, only about 30 cm above ground level, so anyone could get to it.
