We stayed a couple of nights in the Suite, and it was spotless, modern, and beautifully finished. The balcony looks out over Riomaggiore and the ocean. Open the windows and you can fall asleep to the sound of the sea. Matteo was a lovely host who made sure we had everything we needed and really went out of his way to look after us.

The welcome was professional, with impeccable courtesy and attention. The place has an elegant designer feel and a distinctive artistic touch, all in a true Made in Italy style. From here, the views over Riomaggiore and the sea are breathtaking, and the location is perfect. Highly recommended, especially for people wanting connected accommodation across several floors, with both privacy and independence as well as welcoming shared spaces in the magical setting of the Cinque Terre. The best in Riomaggiore.

Matteo is the real strength of this place. He was delightful and helpful without hovering, and his advice on where to eat, what to see, and how to get around the villages outside rush hour made a real difference. He made us feel at home right away. The room was clean and cared for, with a personal touch you don’t get at big hotels. It’s carved into the rock of the village, and the sea-view room is stunning. Waking up to the Cinque Terre sea right in front of you makes it hard to get out of bed. Riomaggiore itself is breathtaking, with colorful houses, a little harbor, and paths above the water. It’s worth the trip on its own. We wanted an authentic place away from the crowds of big hotels, and 5terreontherocks was a perfect choice. We’ll be back!
