Room D at Cateo was spacious, really comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It's right in central Riomaggiore, without being too far up the hill, though you'll still have quite a few flights of stairs with your suitcases. The windows also do a great job keeping street noise out. Our host was so warm and helpful. She even helped us book a wonderful local wine tour. Thanks, Anna ☀️😊

The easy self check-in came with detailed instructions, and the owner shared great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. She even arranged discounts for the Cinque Terre Card. The room had everything we needed, including much appreciated snacks, coffee, and tea, and being so close to the train station was a big plus. A comfortable, convenient stay. Highly recommend!

I felt safe and comfortable here as a woman traveling alone, and would absolutely recommend it. The mother and daughter who run the place are kind and caring. My room had a kitchenette, TV, air conditioning, and a clean bathroom. A lovely place to stay in Riomaggiore.

The location was very convenient, and we'd happily stay again. We were traveling with a baby, and they provided a crib without making the room feel cramped. It had a kitchenette, fridge, and clothesline outside the window. The hosts were quick to respond on WhatsApp and shared local tips. They also let us know about train strikes and possible alternatives, including the ferry.

Anna was kind and accommodating, and the place had plenty of extras like coffee, tea, snacks, and more. It was clean and comfortable, not rundown and dirty like other Airbnbs we've stayed in. The price felt well worth it, and I'd love to come back to Riomaggiore. The location is hard to beat, right in the heart of town and only steps from both the train and marina. I'd recommend it.
