Breakfast was good, especially the blood orange, and the coffee was good too. The staff were helpful and accommodating, even keeping our luggage all day after checkout. Some were native English speakers, and one also spoke French fluently; the others spoke enough English. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was small, and the shower curtain let water onto the floor, but it was functional. Our Wi-Fi was poor, though that may depend on the room location. I was told all rooms had reception, but we only got a marginal signal on the patio, not inside. We were given a free, limited-use 4H pass. The place is a bit uphill but walkable from the train station. The nearby church bells will wake you at 07:00, so you may want an early night. There’s no elevator, as is common here, and there are lots of stairs with luggage, but the staff kindly helped us carry it.

We had a really great stay. The reception lady was very kind, and we were given a kit for our stay. The facilities were great. When something went wrong with the bathroom, they fixed it right away. Great customer service ❤️
The reception was really good and accommodating, and the breakfast was amazing. These seem to be the budget rooms for a hotel group in the area, so you get budget pricing and give up an ocean view, while still getting their well-run reception and excellent breakfast. The rates were among the best in Cinque Terre, so I’d recommend them to budget travelers. Our room was a two-minute walk off the main street. Finding it could be confusing, and the stairs may be a challenge for some. The budget rooms aren’t in the same building as the main reception, so you can call ahead to check where yours is if that might be an issue.
The location in Riomaggiore is good, but the price is high. The bathroom was uncomfortable, and most of the staff weren’t very friendly. The man who helped with our luggage was kind, though.
We didn’t end up staying here, but host samuel was very accommodating and arranged for us to move to another bed and breakfast, which turned out even better. If this happens to you too, a transfer or upgrade is fine if there’s a room available and you pay a little extra. Thanks again.
