We received clear directions with photos and the key instructions a few days before arrival. You'll need them, as the apartment would be impossible to find without a description. It's very peaceful, but still close to the city center. During our stay, they sent a payment request, which could be paid through PayPal or in cash. The apartment has lovely decor and was tidy and clean. It used to be an old wine cellar, so the only windows are in the door, which can be secured with a few shutters. There's AC and ventilation to keep the indoor climate comfortable, though the vents could use a clean. Towels, shampoo, and shower gel were provided. The shower feels almost like being in a cave, and the mattress is firm without being too hard.

The couple who own it are young, kind, helpful, and very friendly. Their little apartment is full of character, with exposed rock walls, beautiful ceiling beams, and a striking wine barrel repurposed as the sink. Everything made us feel at home. A delightful little gem, and we'll definitely return!

We had a car, so the private garage in the parking lot at the town entrance came in handy. At €25 a day instead of €35, it's still expensive, and I'd suggest getting the garage door fixed. The loft is just off the main road in a quiet spot. You can hear the train passing below, but it wasn't bothersome. The apartment itself was very nice, clean, and welcoming.
