I hadn’t planned on staying here, but when dalla compagnia cancelled on my friend and me just four hours before we arrived, Luciano hotel came to the rescue. dalla compagnia had horrible service, don’t go there. Luciano was SO kind and accommodating. Since we weren’t getting in until around 10pm, he left out a key and instructions so we could still get into the place. The location is awesome and safe, the rooms are very clean, and it’s extremely well priced. The service was AMAZING, and we’re so grateful to Luciano. We’ll be recommending this place to all our friends!

The owner was nice and gave us a friendly welcome. It’s tucked up at the top of the village, with a pleasant 10min walk down to the center. The place is cute and matches the photos, though it’s not a 5-star Hotel. Free tea and coffee are available, but there’s no breakfast option.

There’s just one bathroom for two rooms and four guests, and it has no window. The Wi-Fi was very unstable. If you don’t mind long walks, you can book here.

The service was friendly and everything was clean, so it worked fine for one night. Our first-floor room was smaller than it looked in the photos, though, and didn't have the sea view we were promised. It's also a bit away from the center. If you're driving, Riomaggiore is gated and there's a daily parking fee of €35 to drive in. Luciano offers parking for that price. The only cheaper option is a spot about 1.5 km uphill along the road.
