Having breakfast on the balcony as the sun came up was one of the best parts of my Cinque Terre trip. I stayed in a room with a fantastic view of the harbour, and I got one of my prettiest Instagram photos ever during an incredible sunrise. The rooms are decorated beautifully, and Malbo is a lovely hotel right in the middle of Riomaggiore. I strongly recommend staying there.

The owners welcomed us and came to collect us, then took us to the apartment. They were helpful in every way and even offered their reserved parking spot at the entrance to Rio Maggiore for free. I'm very grateful to them. The accommodation is wonderful, right in the old town, with a lovely terrace view over the port.

The balcony's sea view is the real highlight, especially first thing in the morning. The place is central, just a few steps from Riomaggiore train station, with modern furnishings, careful attention to detail, and a very comfortable bed.

The host is charming and gave us great tips for visiting the Cinque Terre. The room was lovely, close to everything, and the accommodation included a parking space.
