The roads to Casa Cristina are narrow, and the stairs up to the room are a little steep. In Ripabottoni, though, there are two small shops with fresh bread, cheese, pantry basics, and a small amount of fresh produce for putting together a meal. The shopkeepers were very friendly, and there’s a tavern too. We loved the peaceful garden terrace and pool, with their view over the Molise countryside. The place is quiet, with no commercial intrusions, and feels like stepping into another era while still having modern conveniences. Cristal was caring and generous, and made us feel special. Our spacious room was comfortable for our two-night stay, the shower was good, and breakfast was excellent. She’s an excellent host, with exceptional hospitality and friendliness.

Cristina was so kind and professional, thank you! The property sits in nature at the edge of Ripabottoni, where the quiet is broken by the sounds of wild animals. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the pool makes another peaceful spot to enjoy.

Molise is beautiful and wonderfully peaceful. At Christel's Casa Cristina, we were greeted warmly on the spacious terrace, with its magnificent view. Everything is kept in good condition.

We’d never even heard of Molise before our two-week stay at Casa Cristina, let alone Ripabottoni, but we ended up having a wonderfully restful holiday. The house, pool, and terrace beneath the big walnut tree are all tastefully done. From the spot at the village’s edge, we had lovely views and a sense of privacy, while still getting to know the villagers. Christel was a fantastic host and made the whole stay feel perfect.

Everything was perfect again. A great place if you’re after total relaxation. Cool off in the lovely pool, stretch out in the sun beside it, then spend the evening with a glass of good wine and the beautiful local vegetation around you.
