Domus Petrae Bed & Breakfast

The house and its terrace view are beautiful, and the owners are really nice people. It’s a great place to stay, with beaches reachable in 10 minutes. Families with children should find it very suitable, with lots of animals on the farm. We highly recommend it.

Breakfast was generous and delicious, with both sweet and savory choices, and we appreciated every part of our stay. Even the dog came to say goodbye with his stuffed animal! The welcome was frank and genuine, Grazie mille. Our room had a breathtaking view and it was absolutely quiet. At the beginning of October, we could still use the pool, with the Sibillini Mountains behind it and the silhouette of Acquaviva P. in front.

I’d have liked more comfortable balcony armchairs, or cushions for the chairs. There aren’t secluded green spots beyond the large shared terrace, so the balcony is the place to go if you want to be alone outside. Even so, the value is excellent, and I hope to return. The property was just what I needed to recharge, thanks first of all to Jacopo and Virna, whose kindness felt genuine and whose care for each guest is clear. My room was spacious, spotless, uniquely furnished, and had a postcard view. There’s a refrigerator and kettle in the shared kitchen. The panoramic pool is warm and beautiful, with a shaded area to relax in, and breakfast includes fresh homemade pastries baked by Virna.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast is excellent and carefully prepared. The woman running the property is kind, attentive to detail, and helpful. It’s in a quiet spot surrounded by nature and away from the bustle, with a splendid view of the hills. Definitely recommended!
