B&B CasaNera

Emilie, Salvo and the cute kitties made us feel at home from the start. The hosts were always friendly and responsive, and their restaurant and nearby attraction suggestions were really useful. Breakfast outside was wonderful, with lots of choices, and we loved the view of Etna. Our room was clean, had fresh towels every day and felt very peaceful. We stayed four nights at CasaNera during a 12-day trip around Sicily, and it was our favorite place we stayed. You can't really walk anywhere from there because the area is entirely car-oriented, though I suppose that's to be expected. There’s plenty to do within a half-hour drive, including beaches, hikes and historical sights.

CasaNera sits in a peaceful garden with beautiful views of Mount Etna, a lovely setting for relaxing. The apartment was clean, spacious and nicely decorated, and breakfast was fresh, delicious and offered plenty of choices. The hosts were helpful with local suggestions and available whenever we needed them. Our only small snag was the bed feeling a little short for us at 178 cm and 193 cm tall. We had a fantastic stay and can't wait to come back.

The garden had a lovely, homey feel, and breakfast made with local products was very nice. We also appreciated the hosts' suggestions for places to eat and visit, especially the recommendation to visit Scudero winery. Before we arrived, I received clear directions, and check-in went smoothly. The room was really nice, with a comfy bed, a fully equipped bathroom and good parking. Staying with Emilie & Salvo was the best we could have hoped for. We'd love to come back.

The garden is amazing, the best I've ever seen, and the hosts are so polite and do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. Our room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was excellent. There's a small parking area in the yard with enough room for everyone.
