Hotel Santa Chiara

We'd never written a review before, but the people running this place really deserve one. Francesco gave us tips on restaurants and beaches, and every place he suggested was a hit. The staff are welcoming, kind, and know their work. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and lovely, and breakfast was tasty, generous, and felt authentic. The location also puts you right among lots of beautiful places to visit. We can only recommend staying here. When we're back in Calabria, we already know where we'll stay. Parking right in front of the hotel has only a few spaces, though there are more just a few meters away. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and we really appreciated their kindness. Our room was clean, spacious, and pleasant. The curtains let a little morning light through when closed, but I didn't mind that at all. Breakfast was all sweet. I asked for eggs, but they didn't have any, which was the one small downside for me since I only eat savory breakfasts.

We booked at the last minute and got there late at night, but the staff still took care of our special breakfast requests. They were extremely kind and helpful. The room was large, cozy, clean, and tidy, and the hotel was very nice. A great experience, thank you!

The room was spacious and had air conditioning, which was the only good part. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned carefully, there were nail clippings that weren't mine. Breakfast was a sad little buffet with very few options: packaged croissants, toast, yogurt, empty single-serve jam pots, and a jar of hazelnut spread. There was coffee or cappuccino, and water.
