The surrounding countryside is lovely, with pretty little Italian villages and great spots for hiking and biking. The campsite itself does the job, though my little bungalow had a heater and blankets but no bin. They did let me check in an hour early. I didn’t find the staff especially friendly or helpful. There was no toilet paper in the toilets, and no soap either. Hot water in the showers costs extra, and most of them don’t offer cold water unless you pay as well.

Stefano, the owner, deserves special thanks. He was so kind and honest, like the other owners, who made us feel at home. The campsite is welcoming and well looked after, and we had a really positive stay. If you enjoy the peace that nature brings, I’d highly recommend it. We’ll be back.

We’re grateful to Signora Rosella and her husband Stefano for being so kind, relaxed, and helpful. There was an initial misunderstanding about our accommodation, but they sorted it out quickly. Signora Rosella is a wonderful cook and very humble. She doesn’t call herself a chef, but her pizzas are amazing and wonderfully crisp. We also loved the little good morning tune. Thank you for making an exception to the rule and playing it every day. It’s a peaceful, green place for anyone looking to rest. San Giacomo is a 20 minute walk away, and Serra, a hamlet of Pamparato, is 35 minutes away. We felt very comfortable here and would gladly return.

I spent 10 days in one of the little houses by the main building at this beautiful mountain campsite. Breakfast was served in the morning, and in the evening Rosella made fabulous pizza and fantastic polenta. I really recommend a stay here if you want to unwind and recharge.
