The food was fine, but I wouldn’t make the drive just for it. The menu is short and some options weren’t available. The local antipasto and meat were both okay, though the waiter couldn’t explain what was in the antipasto when we ordered. The house wine tasted pretty watery, and I think you can find food as good or better elsewhere nearby.

The spa package was a real plus for us. We liked having an hour to ourselves in the heated pool, and dinner was delicious and generous, with plenty of choices and a grill over an open fireplace. Our room was warm and clean when we arrived, and had a balcony. The staff were so kind and welcoming, which gave the whole stay a comfortable, family feel. We left very happy and will definitely come back. We stayed at this charming agriturismo a few weeks ago, and breakfast, with homemade cakes and tarts, was a lovely way to finish.
