Hotel Camoscio

The staff really made this hotel special for our family during a week of skiing. Flavio and Lucia looked after our group around the clock and made sure we had everything we needed. The spa is on the small side and gets crowded in the afternoon, but the hotel itself is beautifully built in Alpine style, with lots of wood. Our room was spacious, had a large balcony, and was cleaned and cared for every day. Dinner was especially good value. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation, and my compliments to the chefs.

Getting our reservation sorted was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and spoke English well. The hotel is clean and cozy, with a wellness area that has a Finnish sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. It was open from 16:30 to 18:30, which was enough time to relax after skiing. Dinner was a real highlight, with several courses and a salad bar. On some days we could choose from a menu, while on others the hotel set the meal. Breakfast was more limited, but there was enough for me, and the kind staff could make scrambled eggs if asked. The nearest slope is 5 km away and connects to the Sella Ronda circuit. I visited in winter, though I can imagine coming in summer too. Thanks to everyone for a great holiday. I hope I get the chance to come back.

I can't thank the proprietor enough. She came through for us when we were in a desperate situation and was incredibly helpful. The meals were delicious and included in the price, and the hotel was very clean and well looked after. I just wish my Italian or German were better so I could thank everyone properly.

Our original hotel was closed, even though we had a reservation, so we weren't meant to stay here. The owner came to pick us up and brought us to her place, which was amazing of her. They provide three meals a day, though we only had two, and both were wonderful. The room was very clean. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the bed was much too hard.
