One slope is right across the street, so you can ski down to the big cable car or ski back home at the end of the day. It's also easy to reach the SellaRonda routes. The food was great, especially supper, and we spent our evenings playing cards in the bar while bartender Alin made us great drinks. The service went above and beyond: after they dropped us at the lift, we found a broken binding. They came back, drove us to a ski shop for a free repair, then took us back to the lift. A+ in every category.

The ski piste is only about 50 meters from the hotel. Our room was always spotless, and every dinner was absolutely fantastic. A very nice, cozy place.

It was truly cold inside the hotel this January. The owners switched off the heating overnight, and after full days on the slopes we'd return to a hotel that was still cold. They also took away the firewood when we tried to warm ourselves downstairs by the fire.

The value here is unbelievably good. We got a nice room, dinner and breakfast, and use of the wellness facilities. The staff were very attentive, and they even managed to do some laundry for us, which helped while we were hiking and traveling around. I wish I could give the place more stars.

We were five people there over the New Year's holiday, and Hotel Roy in Malga Ciapela exceeded what we expected. The bar and fireplace made a lovely place for us to spend time together, and the spa was great for relaxing. Our rooms had all the comforts and were spotless. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. This family-run hotel was so good we really didn't want to leave. Highly recommend!
