Farmhouse in Montescudaio With a Shared Pool Near sea & Park

We’ve stayed here twice now, and both visits were great. The landscape around the property is beautiful, and the pool and grounds make for a really relaxing holiday. We also took trips to the beach and Cecina. I’d happily recommend this place.

I’ve never had an experience like this. The place was already dirty when we arrived, and there was mold in the shower. We asked the landlord about bedbugs and he just laughed. By the end, almost everyone in our group had them. He also came by every day to check whether anything had broken, and filmed the whole property, including teenagers in bikinis by the pool.

A lovely place for families, with a big park, a fantastic pool, and a handy spot close to town and the beach. Everyone was friendly. I hope to come back soon with my family.

Our cottage was clean, well stocked with crockery, and we had a wonderful stay in the Family Cottage. We left in tears and will definitely return. The garden is beautiful and clearly cared for with a lot of love. The caretaker is there every day to look after the grounds and clean the pool. The homemade wine and olive oil were delicious too. Ivano and his son Giovanni were incredibly helpful. Our car broke down, and for three days Giovanni drove my husband back and forth to the garage. Parts had to be ordered, nobody at the garage spoke English, and we don’t speak Italian, so Giovanni translated for us. Ivano gives guests his mobile number and helps whenever he can. This is a lovely holiday property, but it isn’t a hotel where every request is catered to. If you need something that isn’t in the kitchen, you can bring or buy it yourself. I brought my favorite knife and a cutting board because I wasn’t sure they’d be there. The hosts aren’t there to pamper guests, as I said, it’s not a hotel. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews. We saw no bedbugs in our cottage or anywhere among the other guests. The people we met were all happy and satisfied, and guests chatted with one another. We were able to relax and enjoy this beautiful property.
