Hotel Sporting

Right in the center, just 20 meters from Roccaraso's main street, this family-run hotel pays close attention to detail. Our room was completely renovated, spotless, and comfortable. The adjoining restaurant is a real highlight, serving tasty, plentiful local food made with quality ingredients. The owners were hands-on and helpful, and all the staff were friendly and highly professional. We'd gladly come back and recommend it.

The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly, though I found the food average. Breakfast had plenty of sweets but nothing savory. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and we'd like to thank Stefania, the cleaning lady on the fourth floor. The Mamboo Jambo team, including entertainers Claudia and Tecla, also kept the little ones entertained. The hotel is a short walk from the town center, and we had a very positive stay.

The rooms at Hotel Sporting in Roccaraso were spacious, recently renovated, and clean, which isn't something you can take for granted in a mountain hotel. Meals were hearty and delicious, with authentic local flavors that hit the spot after a day outside. The hotel also has a warm, almost family-like atmosphere that made us feel at home. It's very central, easy to reach, and only a few minutes from the heart of town. There's a garage for a fee if you're arriving by car, a real plus in this area. Families are well catered for too, with entertainment for children so parents can get a little time to relax. A great choice for comfort, good food, and a genuinely warm welcome.

The room was large and clean, and the location was great, just steps from the center and five minutes from the lifts. The waiter was a real bonus, friendly and very kind. We'll definitely come back.
